CCWA is seeking applicants for the position of Distribution Technician. We are looking for a team-oriented individual committed to learning, innovative problem solving and who is positive, approachable and has the utmost integrity to join our excellent staff.

This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor, and will perform skilled work in the operation of a water pipeline and distribution facilities with the assistance and oversight of the Distribution Supervisor. 

Possession of a California State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, Distribution Operator Grade D-3 (or higher) Certificate is required, and possession of a Water Treatment Operator Grade T-2 (or higher) is preferred. 

The Distribution Technician  will be based in the CCWA Buellton Administrative Office but may occasionally be assigned to any location along the 142 mile pipeline, extending from the Polonio Pass WTP in San Luis Obispo County to Lake Cachuma in Santa Barbara County.
